A Ukrainian Family’s Life Changed in an Instant – and How We Stepped In
9/22/2024

Just days ago, a Ukrainian newcomer was struck by a car speeding through a red light, leaving him with severe head trauma, a brain bleed, and broken bones. He was the sole breadwinner for his family, leaving his wife and 5-year-old child overwhelmed with worry about how they would survive.
For five agonizing hours, they waited, believing he was in surgery, only to discover he had been in the ER all along. Facing an uncertain future—how to pay rent, buy food, or cover expenses—this family was in crisis.
That’s when INGA EDUCATES stepped in. Alongside raising the exact amount his wife had hoped for through donations, we arranged emotional and logistical support, from social workers to essential community resources. We made sure this family didn’t face their struggle alone.
Moved by our support and inspired by our mission, the wife is now volunteering with INGA EDUCATES, determined to help others going through similar hardships. Her strength and dedication remind us why we do what we do.
Sadly, many families are in the same heartbreaking situation. That’s why we’ve launched a fund to support those in need. If you want to help, please reach out.
Road safety doesn’t happen by accident—it happens with action. Join us at INGA EDUCATES to make a difference.
